Esley Cleo Walker, 85, of Malden, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at the Malden Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Malden.
Born June 8, 1921, in Bernie, Mo., daughter of the late Robert Lee Edwards, she was a member of the First Church of God in Gideon.
On Nov. 30, 1939, in Gideon, she married Arvin Lee Walker, who preceded her in death on May 2, 2000.
Survivors include five daughters, Carolyn Taylor, and husband, John, of Kennett; Brenda Hancock, June Earnheart, and husband, Ronnie, all of Malden, Janice Reeves, and husband, Oran, of Rolla, Mo., and Gladys Sparks, and husband, Virgil, of Carroll, Iowa; one son, Arlen Walker, and wife, Bonnie, of Malden; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Lesley Edwards; three sisters, Minnie Lawson, Edna Burnett, and Hazel Abbott; one grandson, Scotty Walker.
Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services began at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Bradshaw Chapel in Malden.
Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
