Beck

Buddy Beck, 80, of Risco, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Malden Nursing and Rehab in Malden, Mo.

Born May 17, 1926, in Tallapoosa, Mo., son of the late James Joseph and Lelia Mae Mollineaux Beck, he was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII. He was a member of the Pleasant View General Baptist Church in Risco.

On Jan. 20, 1949, in Piggott, Ark., he married Juanita Delores Whittenberg, who survives.

Survivors also include one daughter, Cathy Wilson and husband, William, of Risco; two brothers, Bobby Beck, of Risco and Douglas Beck and wife, Carol, of Auburn Hills, Mich.; one sister, Virginia Bowman and husband, Colin, of Pontiac, Mich.; one grandson, Bryan Wilson, of Dexter, Mo.; one granddaughter, Christ Wilson Morrison, of Sikeston, Mo., and two great-grandsons, Zachary Howell, of Piggott, Ark., and Dakota Wilson, of Dexter.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah Beck; one sister, Ethel Hamlett and one grandson, Michael Morrison.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Revs. Vernon Self and Mark Powell officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
