Irene Grills

Irene V. Grills, 84, of Kennett since 1967 and formerly of Fisk, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at National HealthCare in Kennett.

Born May 13, 1922, in Kennett, daughter of the late William Grant Grills and Tildy Ann Crafford Grills, she was a homemaker and attended the Star Community Church while living in Fisk.

Survivors include one brother, Jerry Grills, of Galesburg, Mich.; two nieces, Barbara Webb, of Kennett and Mary Henry, of Collinsville, Ill., and one great-nephew, Keith Woodruff, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Franklin Grills and Chester Lee Grills and one sister, Gladys Marie Patton.

Graveside services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Rombauer Cemetery.
