Floyd Houston Wiseman, 79, of Senath, Mo., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born Feb. 12, 1927, in Rogersville, Ala., he was the son of the late George and Anna Whitehead Wiseman.
On July 15, 1944, in Paragould, Ark., he married Evelyn Grimes, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Steve Wiseman and wife, Mary Jane, of Hornersville and Randy Wiseman and wife, Chantay, of Senath; one daughter, Linda Sue Wiseman; one sister, Audrey Bryant, of Atmore, Ala.; seven grandchildren, Travis and Eddie Jones, Taleah, Trevor and Holly Wiseman and Garan and Rebecca Wisdom and two great-grandchildren, Ashley K. and Ashley Ann Jones.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and one grandson, Brandon Wiseman.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Senath with the Revs. Gene Speight and Wayland Tom officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Travis Jones, Eddie Jones, Jamie Cates, Larry West, Dale Glover and Richard Glover.
Honorary pallbearer was Trever Wiseman.
