Paul W. Dye, 80, of Frankfort, Mich., died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Birchwood Nursing Care Center in Traverse City.
Born March 16, 1926, in Holcomb, Mo., son of the late Alfred and Lela Dye, he was employed by Fisher Body.
On Oct. 9, 1941, he married Joyce Lacey, who survives.
Survivors also include his children, Jerry and wife, Marjie, of Florida, Randy and wife, Carol, of Frankfort, John, of Empire, Mich., Paulette Regula and husband, Paul, of Rochester Hills, Mich., and Mark and wife, Jan, of Jackson, Mich.; one sister, Leon Ladd, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 28, at the First Congregational Church in Benzonia, Mich. with the Rev. Stephen J. Davidson officiating.
Memorials may be made to the North Western Chapter of Alzheimer's Association in Traverse City, Mich.
McElduff-Jowett Funeral Home of Frankfort was in charge of arrangements.
