Frances "Granny" P. Wise, 91, of Clarkton, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, at the Golden Living Center at Malden, Mo.

Born April 24, 1915, at Malden, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Vergle Edith Polen Wagster. She was a homemaker, a member of the Spoonerville Baptist Church at Malden, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Bernie for over 50 years.

On February 17, 1936, she married Carmack Wise who preceded her in death.

One daughter, Martha Sue McMillian, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Skidmore and husband, Allen, and Frances Cross and husband, Verlin, of Malden; one son-in-law, Bob McMillian of Perryville, Mo.; one brother, J.D. Wagster and wife, Iris, of Malden; two sisters, Rhonda Lannius and Marry Ann Stratman of Malden; four grandsons, John Cross, David Cross, Doug McMillian, and Robert Skidmore; two granddaughters, Jennifer Shivers and Patti Byron; eight great-grandchildren, Melissa Ogle, Jason McMillian, Shelby Skidmore, Cody Skidmore, Johnathan Shivers, Danielle Shivers, Emily Cross, and Michael Hays; four great-great-grandchildren, Dakota Ogle, Macy Ogle, Conner McMillian and Cooper McMillian.

Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel at Malden.

The funeral service will be Monday Oct. 23, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Landess Funeral Chapel.

Burial will follow at Mt. Gilead Cemetery at Clarkton.
