Jerris Rhea Beacham, 66, of Jackson, Tenn., formerly of Kennett, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006, at her residence.

Born Feb. 3, 1940, in Kennett, daughter of the late Rayburn and Ella Mae Baker Pelts, she was a homemaker and a member of the Englewood Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ken Beacham, of Jackson; four children, Tim Beacham and wife, Cathy, of Cordova, Tenn., Scott Beacham and wife, Annette, of Jacksonville, Fla., Wayne Beacham and wife, Susan, of Humboldt, Tenn., and Jani Michelle Schuetter and husband, Jeff, of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Margie Dye, of Jackson and Cleta Cash, of Ventura, Calif.,; one brother, Wayne Pelts, of Kennett and six grandchildren, Christopher, Keli, Brett, Kaitlyn, Peyton and Sara.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19, at Arrington Funeral Directors in Jackson.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 20, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with Dr. Phillip Jett and Rev. Paul Williams officiating.
