Richard E. Vaughn, 73, of Hayti, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at Hayti.

Born March 11, 1933, in Rector, Ark., he was the son of the late William Owen and Lindy Jenese Vaughn.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Vaughn, of Campbell, Mo., Tony Vaughn, of Pullman, Mich., Michael Vaughn, of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Gayle Scott, of Pullman; one step-son, Mike Pietreykowski, of Caruthersville, Mo.; special friend, Pat Lambers, of Hayti; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, Oct. 18, in the Mitchell Cemetery at Greenway, Ark.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
