Odia Waddell

Odia Vivian Waddell, 86, of Adamsville, Tenn., died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at her residence.

Born in Hayti, Mo., daughter of George and Myrtle Maritt Cheshire, she was a homemaker and a member of the Counce United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include four sons, Buddy Waddell, of Michie, Tenn., Floyd Waddell, of Counce, Tenn., Jackie Waddell, of Harlem, Ga., and Lloyd Waddell, of St. Louis, Mo.; one daughter, Joy Holloway, of Michie; 28 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Waddell; three daughters, Georgia Lee, Glendola and Jeanie; one sister, Ruth Minton and three brothers, Tommy, William and Riley Cheshire.

Graveside services were held at noon, Oct. 9, in the Dry Bayou Cemetery at Hayti.

Corinthian Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
