Pauline Parks, 83, of Portageville, Mo., formerly of Braggadocio, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at the Delta Medical Center at Sikeston, Mo.
Born Oct. 24, 1922, in Plummerville, Ark., daughter of the late James and Elsie Mitchell Rhoades, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Annis Burrow, of Portageville, Mo., and Pat Cunningham, of Camden, Tenn.; one brother, Bobby Joe Rhoades, of Harrison, Ark.; one sister, Lucille Briggs, of Omaha, Neb.; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, James Parks; one step-son, James Lamar Parks; one step-daughter, Anna Parks Garris; two brothers, James Dewey and Cecil Edward Rhoades; one sister, Ruby Lee Rhoades and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Friday, Sept. 29, at the Hayti Church of Christ with Jeff Thomas officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Wayne Rhoades, Jr., Wayne, Ricky and Josh Rhoades, Ricky Edgar and Kevin Fowler.
Honorary pallbearers were Frank Rhoades and Danny and David Briggs.
John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
