Betty Jo Glenn, 82, of Campbell, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 25, 2006, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.
Born Dec. 29, 1923, in Glennonville, daughter of the late Herman Francis and Florence Livers Stewart, she was employed at the First Community Bank and a member of the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville and the St. Ann's Altar Society.
On Oct. 5, 1946, in Glennonville, she married Charles Houston Glenn, who preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 2000. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marguerite Stewart Bumpus and Pauline Stewart and three brothers, Lavuelle, Joseph and Charles Raymond Stewart.
Survivors include five sons, James Stewart Glenn and wife, Alicia, of Bonneau, S.C., Charles William Glenn and wife, Vicki, of Mount Joy, Pa., Fredrick Glenn and Robert Houston Glenn, both of Campbell and Michael Lee Glenn and wife, Pamela, of Cabot, Ark.; two brothers, John Fredrick Stewart, of Beech Grove, Ind., and Edward William Stewart, of Kingston, Ga.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell with a Rosary service at 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, at the St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Glennonville with Father Glenn Eftink officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Teresa's Cemetery at Glennonville.
