Joyce Aline Sikes, 66, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Arbyrd, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, at her residence.
Born Feb. 6, 1940, in Arybrd, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Angie Faye Martin.
On July 31, 1967, in Paragould, she married Kenneth Sikes, who survives.
Survivors also include two sons, Curtis Lindsey and wife, Robin and Kenny Sikes, all of Paragould; three daughters, Sondra Flynn and husband, Jeff, of Bentonville, Ark., Sherry Hoskins and husband, Danny, of Paragould and Donna Partlow and husband, Dany, of Weiner, Ark.; one sister, Ersel Edwards, of Kennett; 11 grandchildren, Rhease and Clarie Hoskins, Erica Coffel, Lindsey Glidewell, Jacob Partlow, Matt and Cody Sikes, April Lindsey, Tylor Wright and Chris and Nichole Payton; three great-grandchildren, Eli Coffel and Jeffery and Lily Glidewell.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Wilson; one brother, Onus "Bud" Johns; one grandson, Luke Partlow and her step-father, Earl Chailland.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Wednesday, Sept. 27, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Arbyrd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept., 28, at the First Baptist Church in Arbyrd with the Rev. Alan Cureton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Cardwell Cemetery at Cardwell, Mo.
Pallbearers are Danny Hoskins, Dany Partlow, Jeff Flynn, Evan Coffel, Matt Sikes and Rhease Hoskins.
Honorary pallbearers are grandsons.
