Ola Inez Laird Mouser, 93, of Kennett, died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, at National HealthCare.
Born Feb. 6, 1913, in Black Rock, Ark., she was daughter of the late W.F. "Billy" and Sallie Lee Ricker, one of 13 children and was the last survivor of her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, past president of BP&W Club, a resident of Kennett since 1949 and was employed at James Kahn Department Store for over 20 years.
On Jan. 3, 1931, she married Tom Mouser, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters and one son-in-law, Bill Parmenter.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Mouser and wife, Elizabeth, of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; one daughter, Barbara Parmenter Weldon and husband, Asa, of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Parmenter and wife, Wendy, of Houston, Tommy Mouser, II, of Excelsior Springs and Cyndy Richardson, of Kennett; great-grandchildren, Miles Richardson and Rachel Richardson, both of Kennett, Heather Morrow, of Dallas, Texas and Sean Mouser, of Excelsior Springs; special niece, Darlene Munoz and husband, Anthony, of Las Alamitas, Calif., and extended family, Mrs. Arlice Hook, Mrs. Jerry Parmenter, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hook and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Guimon.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 25, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Ed Jansson officiating.
Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett was in charge of arrangements.
