Savannah Beatrice Barrett, 89, of St. Charles, Mo., died Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, at National Healthcare Center in St. Charles.

Born Nov. 25, 1916, in Kennett, daughter of the late J.H. Broglin and Pearl Mae Crawford, she was a cook and of the Baptist faith.

On Oct. 23, 1980, in St. Charles, she married Arthur Barrett, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter and Jack Broglin and Ballard Jaques; three sisters, Jessie and Ona Broglin and Ora B. Terry; a grandson, Regely Allen Rawlings and her step-mother, Flora Jaques Broglin.

Survivors include one daughter, Belita Rawlings and husband, Dallas, of St. Charles; two brothers, Henry Broglin, of White Oak, Mo., and Alfred Jaques, of Kennett; two sisters, Helen Chamblain, of San Antonio, Texas and Micki Montgomery, of Steelville, Mo.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Sept. 22, at the Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 23, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with James Powell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden.
