George Hall

George Thomas Hall, 66, of Portageville, Mo., formerly of Hayti and Wardell, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at his residence.

Born March 8, 1940, in Florence, Ala., son of the late Cleo M. and Veola Murphy Hall, he was a farmer.

On Sept. 1, 1963, in Hayward, Mo., he married Viddie Davis, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Phillip Thomas Hall, of Portageville and Troy Hall, of Catron, Mo.; three daughters, Phyllis Harden, Tammy Collins and Angelia Guy, all of Portageville; one sister, June Blagg, of Portageville; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa and Judy Hall and one granddaughter, Destiny Hall.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 18, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with the Rev. Maurice Redden officiating.

Burial was in the Wardell Memorial Cemetery.
