Charles Eugene Sims, 37, of Paragould, Ark., died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at his residence.

Born May 29, 1969, in Kennett, he was the son of Billie Foster Sims and the late Allen Sims.

He married Rena Weaver, who survives.

Survivors also include two sons, Matthew Rowe Sims, of Arbyrd, Mo., and Dyla Sims, of Little Rock, Ark.; his mother, Billie Sims, of Paragould; two brothers, Allan Sims, Jr., and wife, Georgette, of Arbyrd and Jerry Don Sims, of Baton Rouge, La., and three sisters, Margaret McCracken and husband, Wilburn, of Rector, Ark., Betty Wilmoth and husband, Victor, of Leachville, Ark., and Dorma Sessums and husband, Alvin, of Paragould.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Arbyrd with the Rev. Floyd Ryles officiating.

Burial was in the Cardwell Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Kevin Jones, James Weaver, Mark and Robert Burger, Carl Drury and Max Maxwell.
