Gary Dale Jines, 61, Dexter, Mo., formerly of Risco, Mo., died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Dexter.

Born Nov. 10, 1944, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., son of Mabel Hinrichs Jines Lancaster and the late Ulice W. Jines, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served in Vietnam, an agri-pilot and a member of the First Baptist Church in Risco.

On April, 18, 1979, in Parma, Mo., he married Sherry Anne Curtis, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Michael Jines, of Malden, Mo.; one step-son, Bobby Morley and wife, Mary, of Lake City, Ark.; mother and step-father, Mabel and James Lancaster, of Risco; one sister, Patty Fisher and husband, Richard, of Springfield, Mo., and one brother, Don Jines, of Risco.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Jines.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m., today, Wednesday, Sept. 13, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.

Memorials may be made to Stoddard County ARC at Dexter.
