Annie Mae Smith, 79, of Moberly, Mo., formerly of Bernie, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 10, 2006, at her residence.
Born April 13, 1927, in Clarksdale, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Green and Georgia Lewis Wilson.
She married Love Smith, who preceded her in death in July of 1962. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Eddie Samuel and Wade Smith and Daniel Kelly; one daughter, Georgia Mae Harvey; two brothers, Cecil Wilson and Nathan Morris and two sisters, Rosie Allen and Charlesetta Richardson.
Survivors include four daughters, Jeanette Hatcher, of Indianapolis, Ind., Paulette Cole and husband, Clarence, of Marion, Ind., Barbara Thomas, of Jefferson City, Mo., and Delores Fugate and husband, Stephen, of Moberly; five sons, Edward Kelly, of Detroit, Mich., Williette Smith, of Bernie, Paul Prather and wife, Mary, of Dudley, Mo., Willie Prother, of Columbia, Mo., and Eddie Smith and wife, Carolyn, of Malden, Mo.; 55 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Gene Perkins officiating.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery at Malden.
