Alfred M. Burress, 67, of White Oak, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.
Born March 5, 1939, in Frailie, Mo., he was the son of the late Albert Nathan and Myrtle Lee Burress.
Survivors include two brothers, Winfred Burress and wife, Brenda, of White Oak and Glendil Ray and wife, Jean, of Hornersville, Mo.; one sister, Helen Jarrett, of South Haven, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Francis Lacey.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the McDaniel Funeral Home chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Jim Cowsert and John Keel officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Wayne and Thomas Burress, Wade and Nathon Lacey, Glen Burress, Jr., and Gary Redmon.
Honorary pallbearer was Bill Crain.
