Miya LaFaye Hilburn, 1 month, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at her residence.

Born July 4, 2006, in Kennett, she was the daughter of Alissa Beth Hilburn and Charles Farrell Woods of Caruthersville.

Survivors include one brother, Collin Washington; two sisters, Briana and Charleigh Hilburn; grandparents, Cathy Hilburn, Gloria Woods and Charles Jones, all of Caruthersville and great-grandparents, Charles Constant and Mary Alice Woods, both of Caruthersville.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, David Hilburn.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Wesleyan Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Cemetery at Caruthersville.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
