Smith

Barbara Ann Smith, 73, of Clarkton, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Feb. 9, 1933, in Clarkton, daughter of the late Filbert and Anna Elizabeth Todd Russom, she was employed at Gideon Anderson and was a member of the Lynn Oak General Baptist Church.

On June 9, 1951, in Piggott, Ark., she married Earl D. Smith, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Earl Smith, Jr., and wife, Angie, of Little Rock, Ark.; two sisters, Shelby Colbert and husband, Ursey, of Campbell, Mo., and Phyllis Stidham and husband, Lee, of Anadarko, Okla.; two brothers, Roy Russom and wife, Brenda, of Wall Lake, Iowa and Phillip Russom and wife, Sharon, of Holcomb, Mo.; five grandchildren, Scott Stoelting, of Portageville, Christy Marsh, of Jefferson City, Mo., Michael Shane Stoelting, of Malden, Mo., and Eric and Jackie Smith, of Benton, Ark., and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 4, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden with the Rev. Randy Wiseman officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
