Earl Escow Tuttleton, 80, of Malden, Mo., died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Mo.

Born Feb. 4, 1926, in Parma, Mo., son of Christopher Columbus and Osabell Taylor Tuttleton, he was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran having served in WWII and a farmer.

On Oct. 26, 1948, in Risco, Mo., he married Wanda Gerline Orton, who preceded him in death on April 16, 2002. He was also preceded in death by one brother, James Albert Tuttleton and infant twin sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Charles Tuttleton and wife, Jean, of St. Louis, Mo., and Jimmy Tuttleton and Randy Tuttleton and wife, Sandy, both of Malden; four daughters, Wanda Lowery and Kathy Winnett and husband, Ricky, all of Malden, Nancy Dunn and husband, Bobby, of Marquand, Mo., and Pat Whittall and husband, Gary, of Arnold, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Tuesday, Sept. 5, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Dan Hargrave officiating.

Burial was in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
