Lindsay Emelio and Bryan Pennington of Dexter, Mo., announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Kay Emelio Pennington, born Aug. 17, 2006, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

She weighed 6 pounds and 10 ounces and was 18 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Leigh Harris of Kennett and Wilma and Randy Pennington of Dexter.
