Mary Jane McKeel, 77, of Kennett, died Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Born June 26, 1929 at Russellville, Ark., a daughter of the late Silas T. and Charles Earle Pennington Redmond, she was a retired teacher and member of Retired Teachers Association and Library Book Review.
On May 30, 1952, at Piggott, Ark., she married William H. McKeel who survives.
Other survivors include two sons, William "Jiles" McKeel and wife, Susan, of Sautte, Ga., and Stuart Wade McKeel of Kennesaw, Ga.; four brothers, Silas T. Redmond of Waynesville, Mo., Max Redmond of Champaigne, Ill., Carroll Redmond of Branson, Mo., and Lynn Redmond of Lexington, Ky.; two sisters, Juanita Buck of Grand Blanc, Mich. and Pat Nail of Haughton, La.; and three grandchildren, Andrew, Lauren and Callie McKeel of Sautte, Ga.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, August 24, at Bradshaw Funeral Home of Kennett.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 25, at the Bradshaw Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at Woodlawn Heights Cemetery at Rector, Ark.
