Velma Mae Snider, 90, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Campbell, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at her residence.
Born Sept. 27, 1915, in Ellington, Mo., daughter of the late George and Ollie Dinkins Chilton, she was a homemaker and a member of the Campbell Church of Christ.
On Aug. 27, 1932, she married Roy Snider, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1981.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Yuill, of Port Charlotte and Glenda Penrod, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; one son, Donald R. Snider, of Columbia, S.C.; two sisters, Dorothy Stout and Nova Hedrick; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., today, Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with Matt Foster officiating.
Burial will follow in the Ellington Cemetery.
