Born May 8, 1918, in Dunklin County, Mo., daughter of the late Truman and Flora Jaques, she was a member of the Slicer Street Church of Christ in Kennett.
On Dec. 22, 1935, in Clay County, Ark., she married James Everett Terry, who preceded her in death on May 20, 1970. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Walter Broglin, Jack Broglin and Ballard Jaques; a daughter-in-law, Helen Terry; a son-in-law, Robert Akers and a grandson, Scot Everett Akers.
Survivors include one son, Tommy Terry, of Kennett; one daughter, Nancy Akers, of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Alfred Jaques and wife, Ollie, of Kennett and Henry Broglin and wife, Nellie, of White Oak, Mo.; three sisters, Savannah Barrett, of St. Charles, Mo., Mildred Montgomery and husband, Glen, of Steeleville, Mo., and Helen Chamblin of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Janet Broderick, of Greenway, Ark., Kay Wormington, of Paris, Mo., Stephanie Lee, of Memphis, Tenn., Michele Jones, of Kennett and Amy Andrews, of Niagara Falls, Ontario; 10 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Friday, Aug. 18, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 19, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Spencer Furby and Henry Deeter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers are James Dicus, Bill Lee, Lanny Broglin, Michael Clark, Stuart Chamblin and Myron Low.
