Florine Taylor

Florine Vaughn Taylor, 80, formerly of Rives, Mo., died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at Hornersville, Mo.

Born Oct. 22, 1925, in Berdon Springs, Ala., daughter of the late Robert and Martha Knott Brown, she was a homemaker.

She married Cecil Vaughn, who preceded her in death and later married Reynard Taylor, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include six sisters-in-law, Alta Pritchett, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mildred Pritchett and Daisy Weaver, both of Rives, Stella Benson, of Kennett, Rose Wampfler, of Rockford, Ill., and Mary Hines, of Hornersville, Mo.; two aunts, Lula Mae, of Georgia and Roxie Butler, of Marble Hill, Mo. and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Powell Funeral Home in Steele, Mo., with the Rev. Gaylie Williams officiating.

Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Steele.
