Kathleen Bernice Cooper

Kathleen Bernice Cooper, 55, of Hayti, Mo., died Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at the hospital in Hayti.

Born November 26, 1950 at Preston, England, she was the daughter of the late John and Kathleen Segar Taylor. She was a member of the Catholic Church of England and had attended the Hayti Church of Christ. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her fiance Jerry Berry of Hayti; five children, Colin "Jr" Cooper, of Steele, Mo., Peter Cooper, of Thayer, Mo., Susan Benton, of Aledo, Texas, Mark Cooper, of Lonoke, Ark., and Christopher Cooper, of Leechville, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2006 at the Woodlawn Cemetery at Hayti, Mo., with Jeff Thomas officiating.

Pallbearers included Colin, Peter, Mark, and Chris Cooper.
