Jody Blocker, 51, of Kennett, died Sunday, July 30, at her residence.
Born Feb. 21, 1955, in Hayti, Mo., she was the daughter of Carrie Jordan Lewis and the late Charles Jackson Lewis, Jr.
On Aug. 19, 1984, in Kennett, she married Harold Blocker, who survives.
Survivors also include two daughters, Laura Whitfield and husband, Chris, of Kennett and Kara Holt and husband, Bart, of Jonesboro, Ark.; one brother, Charles Jackson Lewis and wife, Meleia, of Dyersburg, Tenn.; her mother, Carrie Jordan Lewis, of Kennett; three grandchildren, Sean, Kailan and Leo Whitfield, all of Kennett and a nephew, Ethan Lewis, of Dyersburg.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., today, Thursday, Aug. 3, in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett with James Powell officiating.
Pallbearers were Bill Blankenship, Corbin Clark, Lon Roberts, Tommie Smith, Jeff Wade and David Wilkerson.
