Willie Stackhouse

Born June 30, 1913, at Leland, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Willie and Sophia White Johnson, and was a member of the Northside Baptist Church.

On January 16, 1941, she married the late Andrew Stackhouse in Mississippi.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Sophie Mae Smith; four brothers; a sister; and two grandsons.

Survivors include one son, Ulysses Green and wife, Carolyn, of Indianapolis, Ind.; one daughter, Ethel Taylor and husband, Joe; two grandsons, Bobby and Jimmy Taylor; three granddaughters, Brenda Taylor, all of Toledo, Ohio, and Marquetta and Markitt Smith of Kennett, Mo; seven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Visitation was from 11 a.m. unitl 1 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home at Kennett.

The funeral service was at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2006, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home at Kennett, with the Rev. Johnny Williams officiating.

Burial followed at the Willoughby Cemetery at Kennett.
