Bertrand "Bert" Kenneth Davidson, 90, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Hayti, Mo., died Feb. 11, 2006, in Phoenix.

Born Feb. 1, 1916, in Holcomb, Mo., son of the late Aaron Arthur and Bertha Lou Bascomb Davidson, he was a graduate of Hayti High School, a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII and in the chiropractic care business.

In 1942, in Clarkston, Mich., he married Thelma Miller, who survives.

Survivors also include three children, Brian Davidson and Christy Smith, both of Phoenix and Sandra Mitchell, of Athens, Ala.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters, Verda Beech Schuitt, Ellen Hart Warren and Agaitha Shanks and four brothers, Jim, Nebert, Henry and Gene.

A military memorial service was held Feb. 21, in the Veterans National Cemetery at Phoenix.
