Vada Monroe Harris, 73, of Kennett, Mo., died Thursday, July 6, 2006, at the Kansas City Hospice House at Kansas City, Mo.

Born March 10, 1933 at Senath, Mo., she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Harris. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Kennett.

Survivors include two sons, Charles David Harris and wife, Beth, of Mission, Kan. and Steven Monroe Harris and wife, Joni Huffman, of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Dorothy Jenkins, of Lawton, Okla. and Carolyn DeLaney of Warrenton, Mo.; five grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2006, at McGilley and Hoge Chapel at Overland Park, Kan.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2006, at McGilley and Hoge Chapel.

Burial will follow at the Cornith Cemetery.
