Aileen Robinson Maxey

Aileen Robinson Maxey, 80, died Wednesday, July 12 at the Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

Born September 18, 1925, at Cottonwood Point, Mo., daughter of the late Brown Robinson and Frona Taylor. She attended Caruthersville schools and Draughons Business College in Memphis, Tenn., employed by the IRS and Rationing Board in Caruthersville prior to retirement. She was a member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church and belonged to the Ladies Circle.

She married Aaron William Maxey on July 8, 1945 in Pensacola, Fla.

Survivors include a son, William T. Maxey and wife, Patricia, of Yuma, Ariz.; grand-daughters, Amanda M. LeBlanc of Vacaville, Calif., and Kristen A. Maxey of Sacramento, Calif.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, July 15 at the H.S. Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.

Burial was in the Maple Cemetery in Caruthersville, Mo.

Pallbearers were Kristen Maxey, John Kleinschmidt, Byron Taylor, Amanda Le Blanc, Dennis Taylor and Bill Maxey.
