Doris Loretta Ransburgh, 79, formerly of Wilson Ark., died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Montgomery, Ala.

Born Oct. 3, 1926 in Memphis, Tenn., daughter of the late Charles Samuel and Marie Victoria Terrsy Standefer. She married Clement Walker Ransburgh who preceded her in death in 1973. She was a devout Christian and professional educator.

Survivors include a son, Larry Ransburgh and wife, Nancy, of Montgomery, Ala.; a daughter, Nancy Adams of Mountain View, Ark., five grandchildren, Chris and Cam Ransburgh, Josh and Nicole Muldowney and Brandy Clark; a great-grandchild Brady Clark; a brother, Charles Standefer of Amory, Miss. , and a sister, Jean Elslander of Marietta, Ga.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 14 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti, Mo., with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.

John W. German Funeral Home of Hayti, Mo., is in charge of services.
