Lula Eathel Jenkins, 88, of Kennett, formerly of White Oak, Mo., died Thursday, July 13, 2006, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Feb. 8, 1918, in Dunklin County, Mo., daughter of the late Theodore and Florence Edith Ball Lipsey, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God in Malden, Mo.
On April 14, 1934, in Kennett, she married Orville Lee Jenkins, who preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1975. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lee and Joe Lipsey and one sister, Lula Batchlor.
Survivors include three sons, Freddy James Jenkins and wife, Betty, of Malden, Clention Orville Jenkins and wife, Francis, of Ironton, Mo., and Richard Eugene Jenkins and wife, Ann, of Paragould, Ark.; two daughters, Belvia June Jewell and husband, Glen, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Billie Sue Parker and husband, Dale, of Malden; one brother, James Lipsey, of Florida; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, July 14, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Kennett.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 15, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Emery.
Burial will follow in the Gregory Cemetery at Kennett.
