Lee Farrow

Lee Woodard Farrow, 84, of Caruthersville, Mo., died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at the Caruthersville Nursing Center.

Born July 9, 1921, in Caruthersville, son of the late Clyde Hamilton Farrow and Clydia Augusta Woodard, he attended Caruthersville School and graduated from the Columbia Military Academy in Columbia, Tenn. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Caruthersville, a member of the American Legion, a past Rotarian and a member of the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Caruthersville; two sons, Clyde Lee Farrow, of Chicago, Ill., and Gary Farrow, of Orange Beach, Ala.; two daughters, Mary Elizabeth Williams, of St. Louis, Mo., and Clydia Jean Carter, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, July 8, at the Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church in Caruthersville with the Rev. Dwight Chapman officiating.

Burial was in the Little Prairie Cemetery at Caruthersville.

Pallbearers were members of the family.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home of Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.
