Sybil Howard

Sybil Howard, 88, of Holcomb, Mo., died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Mo.

Born Jan. 11, 1918, in Holcomb, daughter of the late Jesse Fieldon and Sybil Rebecca Caldwell Bolin, she was employed at John's Produce and was a member of the Stanfield Missionary Baptist Church in Clarkton, Mo.

On Feb. 22, 1941, in Holcomb, she married Martin Walter Howard, who preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1991.

Survivors include one sister, Irma Corine Woody, of Westland, Mich., and one niece, Rebecca Nelson, of Gideon, Mo.

She was preceded in death by an adopted son, Bert Hostetler.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., today, Tuesday, July 11, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Campbell with the Rev. Jack Allen officiating.

Burial was in the Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
