Alba Powers

Alba Lois Powers, 79, of Gideon, Mo., died Friday, June 23, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Jan, 11, 1927, in Lexington, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Walter Otto and Beckie Ann Bartholomew Powers.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Louise Hughes Taylor, Elsie Richardson, Minnie Calvert, Donnie McCormick and Stella Steele and three brothers, Elmer, Leo and Otto Powers.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Monday, June 26, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel in Malden, Mo. with the Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Burial was in the Park Cemetery at Malden.
