Marie Smith, 79, of Kennett, Mo., died Friday, June 23, 2006, at her residence at Kennett.
Born February 28, 1927, at Paris, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late John Travis and Sarah McGill Nunnery.
On February 9, 1948, she was married to the late Eddie Oliver Smith, at Paragould, Ark. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Clady Robin Smith, and five brothers, Chester, Porter, J.T., Travis, and Harrison Nunnery.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Smith and wife, Diane, of Searcy, Ark., and Eddie Smith and wife, Terri, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., three daughters, Sandra Kay Hamlin, of Clarkton, Mo., Linda Sue Smith, of Greenbriar, Tenn., and Lola Wiseman and husband, Terry, of Kingston Springs, Tenn., and one sister, Lucy Turner, of Chicago, Ill., as well as 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m., today, Sunday, June 25, at the McDaniel Funeral Home at Kennett, Mo.
Graveside services are at 3 p.m., today, at the McGrew Cemetery at Senath, Mo. with the Rev. Dale Rickman officiating.
Pallbearers included Jamie Hamlin, Nathan Hamlin, Matt Smith, Josh Smith, Andy Smith, and Stacey Rogers.
