Annie "Mickey" Hobbs, 72, of Kennett, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at National HealthCare in Kennett.
Born Jan. 28, 1934, in Blytheville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Everett and Laura Winchester Myers.
On March 3, 1951, she married J.B. Hobbs, who preceded her in death July 19, 1996. She was also preceded in death by one son, James Hobbs; five brothers, Gene, Paul and Monroe Cook and Donald and Jerry Myers; two sisters, Patsy Barton and Rosalee Chism and one grandchild.
Survivors include one son, Michael Hobbs, of Kennett; two daughters, Carolyn Woods and Esther Gaddis, both of Kennett; one brother, Rondal Myers, of Kennett; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Friday, June 16, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Blagg officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Johnny Wilburn, Ricky Myers and James Myers and Tommy Crawford.
