Every year Virginia enjoyed playing Santa Claus to all of her neighbors by walking door to door with her little red wagon and making sure that all knew they were special. She made a Neighbor to Neighbor Cookbook compiled from all of her neighbors in her senior citizen community which all seemed to enjoy. In 1997, Virginia was awarded the prestigious honor of being awarded the Dunklin County Community Service Award. Virginia was very proud of the honor and took the title seriously by doubling her efforts within her community. She volunteered where her efforts were needed. She found the true meaning of her life by helping others in their time of need. Virginia loved the Lord with all her heart and soul.
