Emma Jo Horner, 84, of Caruth, MO., died Tuesday, June 13, at her residence.
Born July 12, 1921, in Caruth, daughter of the late Fred E. and Vallie Thompson Chailland, she was a member of the Caruth Methodist Church.
On Dec. 25, 1941, she married Billy Horner, who preceded her in death on April 16, 1997. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Olin and Gene Chailland.
Survivors include one daughter, Anita Jo Brogden and husband, Ronny, of Kennett; three grandchildren, Leah Jo Wallace and husband, Mark, LaGaye Coffee and husband, Jeff and Neil Winston Brogden and five great-grandchildren, Cameron, Declan and Zane Wallace and Kayton and Karson Coffee.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Thursday, June 15, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel in Kennett with the Revs. Jim Pemberton and Gary Carter officiating.
Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.
Pallbearers were Terry, Tom and Frank Chailland, Tony Bacon, Glen Cannon, Jr., and Joe Chandler.
