William Jackson

William Thomas "Dub" Jackson, 74, of Senath, Mo., died Monday, June 12, 2006, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

Born Feb. 1, 1932, in Adamsville, Tenn., son of the late Grady and Maggie Tacker Jackson, he was a member of the Lulu Baptist Church.

On July 10, 1992, in Senath, he married Alice Dubar, who survives.

Survivors also include one son, Wade Branum and Wife, Cassie, of Hazelhurst, Miss.; one daughter, Melinda Foggand and husband, Keith, of Owasso, Okla; two brothers, Carlos Jackson, of Senath and Ralph Jackson, of Sikeston, Mo.; one sister, Barbara Roark, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and two grandchildren, Sara and Rachel Burns.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Regina Jackson; two brothers, Joe Neal and Max L. Jackson and one sister, Mae Nell Cates.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., today, Wednesday, June 14, at the First Baptist Church in Senath with the Revs. Joe Ellis and Kevin Sullivan officiating.

Burial was in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery at Kennett.

Pallbearers were Jim Bidewell, Jamie Cates, Tim Jackson, Neal Jackson, Sonny Jackson and Scottie Jackson.

Honorary pallbearers were Matt, Daniel, Dustin, Bradley and Chris Jackson.

McDaniel Funeral Home of Senath was in charge of arrangements.
