Estel Lee Johnson, 59, of Paragould, Ark., formerly of Cardwell, Mo., died Friday, June 9, 2006, at his residence.

Born at Cardwell, son of the late Sidney and Virgie Winn Johnson, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and was employed at the Dana Corporation in Paragould.

Survivors include one son, Darren Johnson and wife, Rebecca, of Marmaduke, Ark.; one daughter, Jana Potter and husband, Joey, of Paragould; one brother, Virgel Johnson and wife, Mary Faye, of Cardwell and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 12, at the Howard Funeral Home Chapel in Leachville, Ark., with Bishop D.G. Daniels officiating.

Burial was in the Leachville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jack Sipes, Larry Lewis, Carlis Remington, Johnny Jack McDaniel, Ray Noel and Jim Harmon.
