Virgie Marie Brannon, 82, of Malden, Mo., died Friday, June 9, 2006, at the Beverly Healthcare Center in Malden.

Born January 2, 1924, in Arkansas, daughter of the late Pete Brannon and Serena Wilkerson, she was a housewife.

Survivors include four sisters, Anna Mae Roper, of Bernie, Mo., Ivalee Davidson and husband, J.B., of Malden, Imogene Harris and husband, Glen, of Malden, and Sue Holloway and husband, Bill, of Savannah, Tenn., and one sister-in-law, Eva Brannon, of Qulin, Mo.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2006 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, with the Rev. Joe Williams officiating.

Burial followed at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden, Mo.
