Violet Hughes

Krystal Bost and Ben Hughes of Anniston, Ala., announce the birth of their daughter, Violet Jo Hanna Hughes, born May 24, 2006, at the Regional Medical Center in Anniston.

She weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce and was 20 inches long.

She is the granddaughter of Marsha Bost and Shirley Scroggins, both of Oxford, Ala., Mr. and Mrs. Don Bost, II of Auburn, Ala., and Ron Hughes of Casper, Wyo., and the great-granddaughter of Dorothy Bost of Kennett, the late Donald Bost and the late Loice Fincher.
