Pamela Renee Laxton and Noe DeJesus Leon of Kennett announce the birth of their son, Brandon Jesus Leon, born June 2, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center's Family BirthPlace in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

He weighed 6 pounds and 15 ounces and was 17 1/2 inches long.

He is the grandson of Billie Banks and Dennis Banks of Rector, Ark., and Tiodora Delcarmen-Avila of El Salvador and Juan Antonia Leon Ortega of El Salvador.
