William Taft "Dub" Bailey, 89, of Senath, Mo., died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

Born Aug. 2, 1916, in Senath, he was the son of the late Robert Manley and Mattie Massey Bailey.

On Oct. 2, 1936, in Cardwell, Mo., he married Luveda Carrington, who survives.

Survivors also include three sons, Bob Bailey, of Hornersville, Mo., Charles Bailey, of Kennett and Gary Bailey and wife, Marie, of Russellville, Ark.; four daughters, Kathy Hunter, of Senath, Edna Ruth Acord and husband, Bobby, of Manila, Ark., Mary Louise Henson and husband, David, of Venus, Fla., and Nancye Wilkins and husband, David, of Kennett; one brother; three sisters; 20 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Gary Bailey, Jr.; five brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., today, Friday, June 9, at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 10, at the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayland Tom officiating.

Burial will follow in the Senath Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Tim, Kevin, Charles and Darren Bailey, Robert Acord, Ryan, Michael and Lester Hunter, and Dave, Terry and Ricky Henson.
