Jewell Lizetta Medcalf Langdon, 92, of Colorado Springs, Colo., formerly of Hornersville, Mo., died Monday, May 22, 2006, at her residence.

Born March 23, 1914, in Bloomfield, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Elmer Eugene Medcalf, Sr., and Lura Mae Bishoff Medcalf.

She married Edwin Ruffin Langdon, who preceded her in death in July, 1996. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Vincent Medcalf and Elmer Eugene Medcalf, Jr. and one grandson, Edwin Louis Richardson.

Survivors include one daughter, Sara Jean Langdon Taylor, of Colorado Springs and one grandchild, Charles Richard Stock.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, in the Oak Ridge Cemetery at Kennett with the Rev. Jim Pemberton officiating.

McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and the American Cancer Society.
