Born July 27, 1939, in Altheimer, Ark., son of the late Willie Hubbard, Sr., and Kathleen Perry Hubbard, he was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include four daughters, Tammy and Deborah Hubbard and Sondra Butler, all of Kansas City, Mo., and Tanya Hubbard, of Indiana; three sons, Willie Hubbard III, of Kansas City, Marcus Hubbard, of Hayti, Mo., and Mark L. Hubbard, of Bragg City; five sisters, Jessica Taylor and Oceaner Hubbard, both of Alton, Ill., Irene Roland, of Peoria, Ill., Queen Palmer, of Ben Harbor, Mich., and Emma Hubbard, of Bragg City; two brothers, Charles Hubbard and James Hubbard III, both of Alton and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Willie Mae Davis and Preleen Stewart and two brothers, Henry and Jimmy Hubbard.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, June 9, at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Hayti.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, June 10 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Willie Joe Jones officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at Hayti.
Pallbearers are Arsenio Jones, Timothy Hamilton, Terrance James, Herman Milton, Jr., Dominic Mason and Kewan Hubbard.
